"VR environments were mainly created in Tiltbrush and Open Brush, with software ‘brushes’, and imported sound that responded to brushes within the software. Integral to the visualization of poetics via these VR environments was the integration of the music and soundscapes I created with ambient sound recordings; and original music by collaborating artists. The sound instigated psychogeographic insights through VR paint/drawing responses, reflected in the titles of each work. Imports of OBJ files from laser scans, microscopic imagery, digitally created objects, and 2d images made into 3d objects, became integral to over 200 VR environments, unique explorations of poetic psychogeography.”

Public sharing of Debora’s work from Visual Poetics is ongoing via public immersive VR experiences in Mozilla Hub; with videos of the VR on Youtube and other platforms; and in VRChat at the Odyssey Gallery. A public VR experience of the psychogeographies was held at the Technology Visualization Studio at Concordia University, on 26 May 2023.
